15-Puzzle RU

Задача: пятнашки в конце сборки должны быть собраны горизонтально (т.е. цифры должны располагаться в строчку слева направо, а не столбиками).

 

Преинспекция: участнику запрещается двигать элементы, даже если элемент стоит "посередине других элементов". У участника 15 секунд на преинспекцию, судья говорит о 8 и 12, штрафы согласно Положениям WCA для дисциплины 3x3x3 Cube.

 

Если во время сборки выпало не более 2 элементов их можно вставить,не выбирая место, и продолжить сборку. В случае,если эти 2 элемента будут поменяны местами и головоломка в данном случае не собирается, можно поменять их местами механически.

Если во время сборки выпало 3 элемента или более (одновременно), то попытка засчитывается как DNF.

 

Штрафы: +2 даётся за "недовороты" U, 2U, 3U, R, 2R, 3R.

Остальные несобранные состояния засчитываются, как DNF. Если после окончания сборки выпал 1 или более эл-ов, то сборка засчитывется как DNF.

Остальные штрафы покрываются Положениями WCA дисциплины 3x3x3 Cube.



Ivy Cube

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the Skewb event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve Ivy Cube.

Logo. A puzzle may have a logo(s) on a colored part. If it does, it must have at most two colored part with a logo. If there is one logo, it must be placed on a center piece. If there are two logos, it must be placed on a two corner pieces of one side.

  • One logo on the center and one on the corner at the same time are not allowed.


Mirror Blocks

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with the following changes:

  • 1. Legality of the puzzle:

    • 1.1. The puzzle must not have a logo.

    • 1.2. All sides of the puzzle must be clearly identifiable from each other (i.e. have distinct thicknesses on each side).

    • 1.3. All stickers / pieces of the puzzle must be the same color with no way of distinguishing one color from another.

  • 2. Scrambling procedures:

    • 2.1. The scrambler holds the cube with the biggest corner in the up-front-left position and the thickest layer as the up face.


Redi Cube

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the Skewb event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve Redi Cube.

Logo. The logo may be on any piece



Kilominx

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the Megaminx event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve Kilominx.

    • 1.1. Kilominx has no centers.
  • 2. If the puzzle state is wrong after scrambling, It is necessary to correct the puzzle state.


Logo. The logo may be on any piece



2-Man Mini Guildford Challenge

Team. There are 2 members in a team.


  • 1. The main goal of a team - solve 10 WCA events:

    • 1.1. 3x3x3 Cube; 2x2x2 Cube; 4x4x4 Cube; 5x5x5 Cube; 3x3x3 OH; Clock; Megaminx; Pyraminx; Skewb; Square-1.
  • 2. Competitors starts solve after timer starts.

  • 3. Only the last solver can stop the timer.

  • 4. If one competitor touched unsolved puzzle then no-one else can touch it before it solved.

    • 4.1. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF). Exception: If no moves have been applied, a time penalty (+2 seconds) may be assigned instead, at the discretion of the judge.

Inspect

  • The competitor is allotted a maximum of 20 seconds to inspect the puzzle and start the solve.

  • 1. When 10 seconds of inspection have elapsed, the judge calls "10 SECONDS".

  • 2. When 17 seconds of inspection have elapsed, the judge calls "17 SECONDS".

  • 3. The competitor must start the solve within 20 seconds of the start of the inspection. Penalty: time penalty (+3 seconds).

  • 4. The competitor must start the solve within 23 seconds of the start of the inspection. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).


Position

  • The initial position of the puzzles (before the inspection) is determined (from left to right):

  • 1. First row: Square-1, Skewb, Clock.

  • 2. Second row: Megaminx, Pyraminx, 3x3x3 Cube (for OH).

  • 3. Third row: 5x5x5 Cube, 4x4x4 Cube, 3x3x3 Cube, 2x2x2 Cube.

  • 4. The larger the number of the row, it is initially closer to the competitors.


Penalties. Time penalties for the puzzles of the attempt are cumulative.



3x3x3 Team-Blind

Team. There are 2 members in a team.


The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Before the attempt, the competitors decide who will solve the puzzle (solver) and who will instruct them (caller).

    • 1.1. They must tell the judge who does what before each attempt.
  • 2. Unlike 3x3x3 Blindfold event, no sight blockers will be placed between the solver and the cube. Because of this, the solver should place the cube so that the blindfold is clearly obstructing the line of sight. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

    • 2.1. The SEE Delegate may disqualify an attempt for any suspected activity.
  • 3. The solver puts on a blindfold before inspection and doesn't remove it until the end of the solve (the timer is stopped). Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

  • 4. Both competitors may touch the cube during inspection.

  • 5. After the solver starts the timer, only the solver may touch the cube and the timer. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

  • 6. Physical contact between the competitors is not allowed. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF). Exception: If no physically suggestive actions have been applied (+2 seconds) may be assigned instead, at the discretion of the judge.

    • 6.1. If more than one physical contact between the competitors happened penalty is only disqualification of the attempt (DNF).
  • 7. Both competitors may talk at any time.



2x2x2 One-Handed

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 One-Handed event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve 2x2x2 Cube.


Ten 3x3x3 Cubes

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve ten 3x3x3 Cubes.

Inspect

  • The competitor is allotted a maximum of 20 seconds to inspect the puzzle and start the solve.

  • 1. When 10 seconds of inspection have elapsed, the judge calls "10 SECONDS".

  • 2. When 17 seconds of inspection have elapsed, the judge calls "17 SECONDS".

  • 3. The competitor must start the solve within 20 seconds of the start of the inspection. Penalty: time penalty (+3 seconds).

  • 4. The competitor must start the solve within 23 seconds of the start of the inspection. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

3x3x3 Rescramble

  • 1. Two cubes given: one scrambled, one solved.

  • 2. Goal: match the scramble on solved cube.

  • 3. Competitor can touch bouth cubes. Can't turn scrambled.



3-Man Mini Guildford Challenge

  • 1. The main goal of a team - solve 10 WCA events:

    • 1.1. 3x3x3 Cube; 2x2x2 Cube; 4x4x4 Cube; 5x5x5 Cube; 3x3x3 OH; Clock; Megaminx; Pyraminx; Skewb; Square-1.

Scrambling All WCA Puzzles

The main goal of a competitor - scramble 11 WCA puzzles:

2x2x2 Cube, 3x3x3 Cube, 4x4x4 Cube, 5x5x5 Cube, 6x6x6 Cube, 7x7x7 Cube, Megaminx, Square-1, Skewb, Clock, Pyraminx.

For each puzzle competitor has one attempt with time limit in 4 minutes.

 

The final result of the attempt is sum of all 11 attempts, also DNF and DNS counting as 4 minutes.

Before start attempt competitor MUST has all 11 puzzles which he / she wants to scramble. If competitor hasn't any puzzle, results of it equals DNS.

 

Process of scrambling one puzzle:

Judge has a paper with a "clean" side and with side with scramble. Judge puts paper scramble-side up and starts the stopwatch. Competitor has 15 seconds to inspect scramble. He / she can touch this paper and puzzle.

Competitor starts timer and scrambles the puzzle. After competitor stops timer, judge compares net of puzzle and scrambled puzzle. If one move is required to bring the puzzle to its scrambled state, the result of the attempt is a DNF.


Penalties. Time penalties for the puzzles of the attempt are cumulative.



1-Man Mini Guildford Challenge

  • 1. The main goal of a competitor - solve 10 WCA events:

    • 1.1. 3x3x3 Cube; 2x2x2 Cube; 4x4x4 Cube; 5x5x5 Cube; 3x3x3 OH; Clock; Megaminx; Pyraminx; Skewb; Square-1.

8x8x8 Cube

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 7x7x7 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve 8x8x8 Cube.


2x2x3 Tower

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve puzzle 2x2x3.

  • 2. Puzzle 2x2x3 are scrambled starting with the white 2x2 face (if not possible, then the lightest 2x2 face) on the top and the darkest adjacent green face (if not possible, then the darkest adjacent face) on the front.

  • 3. Acceptable misalignment for puzzle:

    • 3.1. At most 45 degrees for 2x2 sides.

    • 3.2. At most 90 degrees for 2x3 sides.


Logo. The logo can be placed on a 2x2 side.



Dino Cube

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the Skewb event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve Dino Cube.

Logo. The logo may be on any piece



3x3x3 Scrambling

  • 1. Judge has a paper with a "clean" side and with side with scramble.

  • 2. Judge puts paper scramble-side up and starts the stopwatch.

  • 3. Competitor has 15 seconds to inspect scramble.

    • 3.1. He / she can touch this paper and cube.
  • 4. Competitor starts timer and scrambles the puzzle.

  • 5. After competitor stops timer, the judge must verify that the cube is scrambled correctly.

    • 5.1. If one or more moves are required to bring the cube to its scrambled state, the result of the attempt is a DNF.


2x2x2 Pyramorphix

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 2x2x2 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve 2x2x2 Pyramorphix.

Logo. The logo can be placed on a center piece.



3x3x3 Bets

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Before the attempt the competitor writes a time on their scorecard.

  • 2. The judge confirms the time written.

  • 3. Recording the result:

    • 3.1. If the competitor receives a result lower or equal to the time they wrote on the scorecard before the attempt, their result is equal to the time they wrote down. The judge writes a check mark (✓) next to the time on the scorecard.

    • 3.2. If the competitor receives a result higher than the time they wrote, their result is DNF. The judge writes a cross (X) next to the time on the scorecard.

 

Examples:

Attempt 1: the competitor writes "20.00", the competitor finishes with a time of 20.05 — the result is DNF. The scorecard reads "20.00 / X".

Attempt 2: the competitor writes "21.00", the competitor finishes with a time of 17.20 — the result is 21.00. The scorecard reads "21.00 / ✓".

Attempt 3: the competitor writes "19.00", the competitor finishes with a time of 19.00 — the result is 19.00. The scorecard reads "19.00 / ✓".

Summary: DNF, 21.00, 19.00 — Best solve is 19.00.



9x9x9 Cube

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 7x7x7 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve 9x9x9 Cube.


3x3x3 Cubes Under Water RU

Цель участника: собрать как можно больше кубиков Рубика 3x3x3 под водой на одном дыхании.

Перед началом попытки участник сдаёт кубики в зону скрамблинга, где они перемешиваются по разным скрамблам.

На преинспекцию даётся 20 секунд. Судья должен сказать о пройденном времени инспекции через 10 и 17 секунд (в случае если участник к этому моменту не начал попытку). Инспекция завершается в тот момент, когда участник отпускает кубик из рук и начинает погружение в воду.

Штрафы:

— в случае погружения в воду с кубиком в руках участник получает штраф +2 секунды;

— в случае преинспекции до 22 секунд включительно, участник получает штраф +2 секунды.

Начало попытки: участник погружается под воду и берёт в руки первый кубик. Судья начинает отсчёт времени с момента касания участником кубика.

Сама попытка: участник, находясь полностью под водой, собирает кубики. Участник имеет право держаться ногами для того, чтобы не всплывать. Запрещено иметь какие-либо средства, обеспечивающие дыхание участнику под водой. Затычки для носа, очки для плавания разрешены.

Засчитанным кубиком считается кубик, который является собранным.

Штрафы:

— в случае недовёрнутой грани участник получает штраф +2 секунды, однако кубик является засчитанным;

— в случае если один или несколько кубиков не собраны, они не засчитываются.

Окончание попытки: остановка секундомера происходит в момент всплывания участника. Если у участника в момент всплывания в руках был кубик, то он не засчитывается.

Результат сборки записывается следующим образом: «количество засчитанных кубиков | время попытки».

3x3x3 Blindfolded One-Handed

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event with changes:

  • 1. During memo he/she can touch the cube with both hands.

  • 2. Competitor can solve the cube only using one hand.



3x3x3 With Oven Mitts

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. During the solve, the competitor must use only oven mitts and the surface to operate the puzzle. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

    • 1.1. If other body parts of the competitor come in contact with the puzzle or parts of the puzzle without the competitor's intention and without applying moves, this is not considered operating the puzzle, at the discretion of the judge.
  • 2. Starting the solve:

    • 2.1. The competitor places their bare fingers onto the timer sensors.

    • 2.2. The competitor must have no physical contact with the oven mitts while starting the solve. Penalty: time penalty (+2 seconds).

    • 2.3. The oven mitts must not touch the timer before starting the timer. Penalty: time penalty (+2 seconds).

    • 2.4. The competitor removes their hands from the timer sensors and then put the oven mitts on to start the solve.

  • 3. Stopping the solve:

    • 3.1. The competitor stops the timer by taking the oven mitts off and placing their bare hands onto the timer sensors. Penalty for stopping with oven mitts: time penalty (+2 seconds).


Mirror Blocks Blindfolded

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event with the following changes:

  • 1. Legality of the puzzle:

    • 1.1. The puzzle must not have a logo.

    • 1.2. All sides of the puzzle must be clearly identifiable from each other (i.e. have distinct thicknesses on each side).

    • 1.3. All stickers / pieces of the puzzle must be the same color with no way of distinguishing one color from another.

  • 2. Scrambling procedures:

    • 2.1. The scrambler holds the cube with the biggest corner in the up-front-left position and the thickest layer as the up face.
  • 3. Solving procedures:

    • 3.1. There is no memorization phase.

    • 3.2. The competitor dons the blindfold before the start of the attempt.

    • 3.3. While blindfolded the competitor starts the timer following WCA Regulations, removes the cover from the cube and begins their attempt.

    • 3.4. The blindfold must remain donned for the duration of the whole attempt.



Master Pyraminx

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the Pyraminx event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve Master Pyraminx.

Logo. The logo must be placed on a center piece.



2x2x2-4x4x4 Relay

  • 1. The main goal of a competitor - solve 3 WCA events: 2x2x2 Cube; 3x3x3 Cube; 4x4x4 Cube in any order.

Inspect

  • The competitor is allotted a maximum of 20 seconds to inspect the puzzle and start the solve.

  • 1. When 10 seconds of inspection have elapsed, the judge calls "10 SECONDS".

  • 2. When 17 seconds of inspection have elapsed, the judge calls "17 SECONDS".

  • 3. The competitor must start the solve within 20 seconds of the start of the inspection. Penalty: time penalty (+3 seconds).

  • 4. The competitor must start the solve within 23 seconds of the start of the inspection. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).


Penalties. Time penalties for the puzzles of the attempt are cumulative.



Clock Scrambling

  • 1. Judge has a paper with a "clean" side and with side with scramble.

  • 2. Judge puts paper scramble-side up and starts the stopwatch.

  • 3. Competitor has 15 seconds to inspect scramble.

    • 3.1. He / she can touch this paper and clock.
  • 4. Competitor starts timer and scrambles the puzzle.

  • 5. After competitor stops timer, the judge must verify that the clock is scrambled correctly (including pins).

    • 5.1. If one or more moves are required to bring the clock to its scrambled state, the result of the attempt is a DNF.


3x3x2 Domino Cube

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. Competitor must solve puzzle 3x3x2.

  • 2. 3x3x2 are scrambled starting with the white 3x3 face (if not possible, then the lightest 3x3 face) on the top and the darkest adjacent green face (if not possible, then the darkest adjacent face) on the front.

  • 3. Acceptable misalignment for puzzle:

    • 3.1. At most 45 degrees for 3x3 sides.

    • 3.2. At most 90 degrees for 2x3 sides.

3x3x3 With Feet

The event is held under the WCA Regulations for the 3x3x3 Cube event with changes:

  • 1. During the attempt, the competitor must sit in a chair, sit on the surface, or stand.

  • 2. During the solve, the competitor must use only their feet and the surface to operate the puzzle. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).

  • 3. Starting the solve:

    • 3.1. The competitor places their feet onto the timer sensors.

    • 3.2. The competitor removes their feet from the timer sensors to start the solve.

  • 4. Stopping the solve:

    • 4.1. The competitor stops the timer by placing their feet onto the timer sensors.
